SERVICES PROVIDED:

The Stockton East Water District provides surface water for both agricultural and urban uses.  It also supplies wholesale treated surface water which is retailed to Stockton area customers by the California Water Service Company, the City of Stockton, and the County.  

DESCRIPTION OF DISTRICT:

1.    Formed in 1948

2.    Enabling Act:    1931 Water Conservation Act of the State of California
